Upholstery

A large range of fabrics, vinyls, leather and hospital grade upholstery are available to have your chair upholstered in.  These can be viewed here.

Single Motor

The single motor wall saver operation allows the chair to move forward while the backrest reclines.  This feature is ideal if you are restricted with space.  The recline position allows you to lay at a 45-degree angle.

The controller is simple to use, having 2 buttons which control the recliner, footrest and lift operation.   This operation can be suitable for people who experience memory issues or have dementia.

The remote has back lit buttons and a USB charger port.

Dual Motor

The dual motor allows the user to have independent control between the backrest and footrest operation.  This allows the user to find their ideal resting position.   The dual motor allows the backrest to lie flat when fully reclined.

The remote has back lit buttons and a USB charger port.

Manual recline mechanism

A manual recliner mechanism can be fitted to our recliner range .  A handle or trigger release can be fitted to the left or right hand side of the chair.  This mechanism allows for the backrest to recline while the footrest is extended.

Rocker/Manual Recline

With the manual recliner, you can choose to have a rocker function added to your chair.  The base is spring loaded, allowing the chair to rock back and forth.

Memory Foam

If the user has pressure care issues, memory foam is recommended as it allows for improved pressure distribution.  Memory foam is most effective when paired with our Fusion 4 way stretch fabric.  This fabric range can be viewed here.  Please note memory foam is standard in our M5 bariatric lift recliner and our Cloud lift recliner.

B24 Wheel Kit

If you require a lift recliner to be mobile, our B24 wheel kit can be added to allow the chair to be easily moved around.  A handle is secured to the backrest, while large castors allow for ease of pushing the chair with the user seated.  The foot operated break enables the chair to be locked in place without having to bend.

Fitted with a rechargeable lithium battery pack, the chair can be operated throughout the day without being connected to a power source, and can then be charged overnight for the next day of use.

Vertical Lift

A vertical lift option is available for users who have a preference to be in a vertical position when sitting or standing in and out of a chair.  This option is often requested for users requiring a wheelchair, having loss of strength in their legs, suffering vertigo, or have a preference to be in a standing position when getting out of a chair.

The vertical lift can be added to our Barwon, Hudson and Cloud recliners.  Adding the vertical lift as an option will decrease the weight capacity from 130kg to 90kg.

Please note that the Vertical Lift option only allows the chair to lift vertically.  If additional options are required, please consider our Vertical Lift chair which can be viewed here (insert link to Vertical Lift)

Drop Down Arms
Removable Arms

Drop down arms or removable arms can be added to our Vertical Lift recliner.  These armrest options can assist with side transfer as well as assisting carers or nurses while treating their client.

If transfer is required while the user is lying down, drop down arms are required.

Waterfall Arms

Waterfall arms can be fitted to our lift recliners if the user cannot obtain their desired seat width.  It narrows the seat width, while adding padding for additional comfort.   Waterfall arms can also be used to keep the user from tilting and allowing then to feel secure.

ROHO Cut Out

ROHO cut outs are available to suit either low or high profile ROHOs.   We can also offer the option for a ROHO plug if the user may require one at a later time.  If this is required, the chair is manufactured with a plug over the ROHO cut out which can be easily removed when needed.

Gluteal Recess

If the user appears to be leaning back excessively or not sitting right back into the chair, a gluteal recess might be required.    We can assist the user to sit further back into the chair by shaping the lower part of backrest

Vertical Back

If a more upright backrest is needed, a vertical back can be supplied to our lift recliners.

Concave Backrest
Concave Legrest

If additional stability support is required, a concave backrest and leg rest might assist.  Having the concave foam in these areas allow the user to feel more safe and secure when seated and getting out of their chair.  This is generally recommended to add stability to users who are prone to tilting or have curvature of the spine.  It can also be a recommendation to be used with the Vertical lift recliner.

Headrest and armrest covers

Headrest and armrest covers are available to add protection to these areas.

Headrests

A range of headrests are available in different shapes and sizes.  These can be easily fitted and removed to any of our lift recliners.   It has a weighted rear flap that allows the user to position the headrest into the nape of their neck while seated.   There are 5 shapes and sizes available to choose from which can be viewed here (insert link to images of headrests)

Meal tray

A removable meal tray can be fitted to our lift recliners if needed.  This tray can be swivelled to the side or removed to allow the user to enter or exit the chair.  It can be fitted to the left or right-hand side.  If a food tray is to be fitted to our lift recliner, the showood arms need to be removed.

75mm Castors

50mm castors are standard on our lift recliners.  If a larger castor is required, 75mm castors can be added to assist in pushing the chair around, with 2 fixed front wheels & 2 rear locking wheels.

B24 Wheel Kit

50mm castors are standard on our lift recliners.  If you require your chair to be moved from room to room, larger castors are required.   The B24 wheel kit has 170mm castors on the front of the chair and 100mm castors on the back.  A central locking pedal allows the carer to lock the chair without having to bend.

No Castors

If castors are not required, the lift recliner chair can be manufactured without castors at no extra cost.  Alternatively, the castors can be removed when on site.  Please advise if they will be removed when on site so all measurements in relation to the seat height are calculated correctly.

Glides

Glides can be added to a chair if castors are not required.  Adding glides will ensure the seat height remains at the same starting height.

180kg Option

Most of our lift recliners are rated to 130kg.  If a higher rating is required, we can fit our 180kg rated mechanism.  If this is to be added it must be used in conjunction with our dual motor mechanism.   If castors are required on the lift recliner, we recommend adding our 75mm castors.

Remote

The remote for the single or dual motor is fitted to the right-hand side as standard.  This can be fitted to the left-hand side if required.

A controller loop can also be added to keep the remote secured to your wrist.

Joystick

If you have limited use of your arms or fingers, a joystick can be added, replacing the remote.

Side Pocket

A side pocket is located on the right-hand side of our lift recliners.  You can have the side pocket located on the left-hand side if required.  You also have the option of fitting an additional pocket of your lift recliner which can be utilised to store items such as newspapers, books or glasses.

Showood

The showood timber armrests are a standard fixture on all of our lift recliners.  Timber finishes can be viewed here (insert link to showood colours).  Alternatively, you can have the showood removed.
